Yoga Teachers

Morgan Dice - YogaMorgan Dice, RYT® 200

Like many others, Morgan first came to yoga for the physical exercise, wanting to sweat and feel challenged during a workout, though it didn’t take long to figure out that yoga was so much more than just another exercise craze. The lessons learned on the mat quickly began showing up in everyday life. For Morgan, yoga is a way to cultivate mindfulness, balance, and most importantly, self-love. As a teacher, she truly believes that yoga can heal and transform the mind, body, and spirit, and she aims to help students explore a deeper connection with themselves through the breath and proper alignment of postures.

Krysta Howell - yoga

Krysta Howell, E-RYT® 200

For Krysta Howell yoga is much more than simply a physical practice for the body; it is a way to challenge and center the mind, an approach to tap into the ebb and flow of life, a place to not take yourself too seriously.

Krysta began practicing yoga as a way to further her knowledge about human anatomy and exercise. At the time, she was at a dead end job feeling very stifled and unsatisfied. It didn’t take long for her to realize that yoga was not simply “exercise”. Through the practice, she found how to better tune into her own body, mind, and spirit.

I have been teaching Tai-Chi and Qi-gong for 8 years.  I started practicing 14 years ago with Cefu Dave Foulk and Saya Pat Finley and fell in love with the way it links movement to breath and its profound ability to help promote the body's natural healing abilities. Since I was graciously allowed to begin teaching I have worked with many different types of bodies including the elder population, the disabled and even children and kickboxers.  I also hold a 200 hour yoga teacher certification from the Himalayan Institute and a BS in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland.

Juliane Porter, RYT® 200

Juliane is a lifelong Yogi dedicated to transcending ego, and, to serving the body rather than competing with it. Yoga is integral to that process! Yoga centers, uplifts and aligns the body, mind and spirit, providing a confidence, strength and breath awareness connection from deep within to the one love and universe. It brings awareness and health to the deeper organs of the body, unblocking stagnation, encouraging healthy energy flow and enabling us to live at our highest vibration. She has been practicing yoga asana, twice daily meditation and Zen Buddhism for over 15 years. She completed her 200 hour teacher training with Paula Tursi of Reflections Yoga in NYC.  Juliane also studied under John Schumacher, a direct disciple of BKS Iyengar and one of only two Iyengar Masters in the US, in his advanced class at Unity Woods Yoga in Bethesda.
