This style of massage is great for breaking down specific areas of toxin buildup and adhesions, often felt as 'knots'. Your therapist will work closely with you to determine the appropriate amount of pressure needed to achieve a release of muscular tension. Firmer pressure is used as the different muscle groups are addressed individually using a variety of specific techniques.

Deep tissue massage can be particularly helpful for people with chronically tight muscles, specific areas of significant muscle tension (knots), and sports related pain and tension.

Fertility Massage
Fertility massage is a non-invasive therapy that includes specific cranial sacral holds, castor oil packs, massage, abdominal massage, reflexology and aromatherapy.  During the session your fertility massage specialist will also discuss with you recommendations about diet, visualizations and stress reduction.
Fertility Massage is effective in reducing adhesions and scaring in the abdominal and reproductive areas, restore hormonal balance, reduce stress as well as aid in detoxification of tissues and organs of the whole body as well as the reproductive system, increase blood and lymph circulation to the body.  This in turn, creates a balanced mind, body and spirit and a welcoming environment for baby.

Hot Stone Massage
Hot Stone Massage consists of traditional massage techniques with the incorporation of therapeutic smooth, flat, and heated rocks placed at key points on the body.  Once the stones have heated sufficiently, some are placed onto specific points on the body, such as the back, hands, feet while others are held by the massage therapist and used to work the muscles. The temperature aids in the healing process and the deeper relaxation of the body and mind. It has been said that each stroke with a massage stone is 10 times more effective than a traditional stroke.

Digestive Massage
This massage is for the someone experiencing gastrointestinal discomfort like bloating, cramping, constipation or even diarrhea that can be caused by lack of mobility of the gastrointestinal system. The digestion massage includes the application of a castor oil pack, relaxation techniques, Reflexology, and abdominal massage.

Lymphatic Detox Massage
The Lymphatic Detox Massage is a combination of a full body dry brushing, a warm mineral wellness poultice and a light pressure massage with a detoxifying ginger oil. The lymphatic drainage massage is designed to stimulate your lymphatic system and aid in the bodies natural ability to remove toxins, reduce swelling as well as increase immunity and relieve aches and pains.

Myofascial Release
This is a gentle modality that involves working with the body's connective tissue (tissue that surrounds muscles and tendons) to stretch and relieve muscular tension. This technique is very slow but effective in relieving stiffness and tension at a greater depth without the pressure and tools used in a deep tissue massage. Myofascial release is great for people with a low pain threshold, ligament and tendon problems, muscle spasms, scar tissue, postural problems or fibromyalgia.

Prenatal Massage
Prenatal Massage designed to relieve the discomfort and stress of pregnancy. The massage therapist employs various techniques in order to decrease muscle tension and joint pain, improve circulation and edema, alleviate low back and sciatica pain, alleviate headaches, decrease stress hormones and anxiety and even improve sleep. The client will be placed on her side for all or most of the massage, supported by pillows.

Reflexology is the practice of applying pressure to the feet and hands utilizing specific thumb, finger and hand techniques based on a system of zones and reflex areas that correspond to all systems, organs and glands of the body.  Working these reflex areas on the hands and feet can cause a physical change in that specific body part.

Reflexology is effective in the treatment of a variety of conditions and injuries. Including but not limited to allergy symptoms, stress, back pain, Tension headaches, arthritis, insomnia, digestive disorders, hormonal imbalances including infertility, menstrual disorders and chronic fatigue

Swedish Massage
The therapist uses long strokes, kneading, deep circular movements, vibration, and tapping. Swedish massage is a great modality for relieving areas of pain, stiffness, and tension that result from toxins accumulating in the body. It is very soothing and great for reducing stress and promoting deep relaxation.

Swedish massage can be particularly helpful for people with fibromyalgia, diabetes, high or low blood pressure, general aches and pains.

Sports Massage
The benefits of sports massage have been proven to optimize performance, create faster recovery, increase function during training, and prevent injury. Sports massage techniques can be implemented into any massage and anyone can benefit from this type of therapeutic bodywork.  Results are achieved by improving blood and lymph circulation, breaking down adhesions or knots, increasing range of motion, and lengthening muscles and tendons.

There are 4 types of sports massage. Pre-event is utilized prior to an event within 2 hours to help stimulate and prepare muscles that are specific to the sport or activity. Post-event is utilized shortly after an event to help normalize the body. Maintenance massage improves function during training periods. Rehabilitative therapy is recommended to alleviate pain as well as speed recovery from injury.  Relaxation, relief from muscle soreness and pain, stress release, and injury rehabilitation can all be accomplished regardless of your activity level.
